The helmet was found in Smolensk, Russia. There is the owner’s signature inside of helmet. The abbreviation of Russian name is ПАВ. The helmet production date was hit by bullets and the production date could not be seen. According to the history of the Soviet army in Smolensk, the production date of the helmet should be 1940. or 1941.

The helmet was hit by three bullets:
The first bullet hole: the bullet enters from the front, and comes out in the back;
The second bullet hole: the bullet enters from behind, but is not penetrated;
The third bullet hole: the bullet enters from the top;
